Fishman Rozen LLP is pleased announce that Kenneth Rosenfeld has joined the firm in an Of Counsel capacity. For the previous 27 years he has been the Director of Legal Services at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) and for 5 years prior to that he was the Supervising Attorney at NMIC. Ken is a well known and respected tenant lawyer and litigator, specializing in tenant protections, complicated rent regulatory lawsuits and group and building-wide tenant lawsuits. He has appeared in countless tenant based proceedings and appeals; provided trainings on litigation and tenant oriented substantive issues; and has been a guest on numerous TV and radio shows to discuss tenant and rent regulatory issues. In April 1993 Ken was appointed by Mayor David Dinkins as a tenant member of the New York City Rent Guidelines where he served for six years. In 1995 he was the first recipient of the now annual New York State Bar Association’s Public Interest Law Award.
